Dairy Queen is the latest victim of the notorious Backoff malware. The chain reported that 395 Dairy Queen stores and one Orange Julius store was affected during the month of August and some into September. As always with these types of incidents the company is offering free identity repair services for those customers affected. The breach includes customer names, credit card numbers, and expiration dates. It is advisable to contact your bank if you believe that your card has been compromised.
